Q. How Fast Will My Carpet Dry?

A. This is by far the most frequently asked question from all orange county residents and the answer depends on a few different factors such as the level of soiling, ambient temperature and humidity.

Soiling; The dirtier your carpet is the more pre-spray and rinsing required to get it clean.

Temperature; Carpet will dry faster on a warm day than on a cold day and being in Orange County California that's a plus!

Humidity; If the air is already loaded down with water (like on a humid day) the water from your carpet may require a little more time to evaporate.

Depending on all the factors above, your carpet should take between 1 to 8 hours to completely dry after carpet cleaning.

Q. Do you move furniture?

A. We will usually move the lighter furniture such as dining room chairs and coffee tables. Heavier items are moved strictly at the technician’s discretion.
Considerations include the physical safety of the technician and the possibility of damaging the item to be moved.

Q. Are you one of those “Bait and Switch Companies?

A. No. we will give you a price over the phone and stand by that price when we do the job. There are never any surprises or high pressure sales tactics. We know our customers value a honest carpet cleaning company.

Q. What should I do to prepare for the carpet cleaning?

A. Please pick-up debris such as dirty clothes and toys. Also, if you have any easily breakable items such as a vase that is sitting on a coffee table that we will be moving, it’s probably a good idea to go ahead and move the vase before we arrive.

Q. How often should I get my carpet cleaned?

A. We have customers located in Orange County who get their carpet cleaned monthly and others that get it done yearly. It really depends on your lifestyle. Do you entertain a lot? Do you have kids or pets? Do you have allergies? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, then you will want to get your carpets cleaned on a more frequent basis. Dirt and soils can act as an abrasive and actually wear out you carpets sooner. So, regardless of their appearance, most carpet manufacturers recommend getting your carpet cleaned at least every 12 months.
